Math PhD Student

ABOUT ME

I am a Uruguayan Math PhD student at Texas A&M University, currently pursuing my PhD in Number Theory and Group Dynamics at Texas A&M under the supervision of Rostislav Grigorchuk. Besides working on group theory projects, I am also interested in Arithmetic Dynamics.

In my master's degree, I studied Galois representations, modular forms, elliptic curves, and the connection between them in celebrated theorems such as the Modularity Theorem and Serre's Conjecture. In my undergraduate thesis, I studied the Eichler-Shimura relation, and in my master's thesis, Serre's conjecture.

I also completed my degree in in Electrical Engineering in 2017.
